Purchasing

Purchasing in JBiz is a greatly simplified process.

As Forecast data is progressively created by JBiz and then modified by managers to give the most accurate forward view, this data is then used in the Purchasing process.

Jump to Purchasing

Purchasing is done from the Forecast view. When a manager views and modifies the forecast data, he/she can select the Jump to Purchasing function. This takes the same subset of data across to the Purchasing module and applies all the Purchasing configurations of Supplier, Factory, Lead Time and Rounding. This ensures that the latest and most accurate forecast data is being purchased against and that it is done in a timely fashion.

Modify Purchase Orders

Purchasing functionality allows for further editing of quantities to be purchased and timings of deliveries. Orders can be grouped to suit shipping dates and container volume requirements. Special instructions can be entered and alternative suppliers can be selected.

As soon as a Purchase Order is committed it is reflected in all Decision Dynamics data.
